Strike Marketing (strikemarketing.net) has utilized the services of Web Services for nearly ten years to ensure the growth and technological evolution of one of its key clients. Initially, Web Services was engaged to provide an e-commerce site to process orders for physical goods. The site was programmed to provide a fully functional credit card processing system, including the ability to handle ongoing subscription services. This e-commerce system was programmed in the expected time frame and at a very reasonable cost.
The next phase of evolution was to program the capability to process e-commerce transactions for digital downloads of the client’s IP both as individual transactions and under annual subscription programs on a public-facing website. In order to process orders for the digital downloads, a library of the digital assets was set up by Web Services and serves to this day as the primary repository of the client’s digital assets. The service included the ability for Strike staff to set up new assets via a user-friendly cloud-based dashboard as well as update the public-facing website. Web Service’s provided a timeline and budget that met the client’s targets and was executed in a timely manner.
The latest evolution of the client’s web-based initiatives is to move the digital assets to a podcast platform. Web Services did all the necessary research to recommend the appropriate podcast player software, built the public-facing podcast site, and has provided timely updates as needed on a defined schedule. In addition, Web Services did the necessary work to set up feeds of the podcast to the major third-party podcast distribution entities, including Apple, Google, iHeart, Spotify, and Amazon.

As with the design phase, the programming phase also requires clients to interact with a Dedicated Point of Contact. At completion a final quality assurance test takes place.
